New Giveaway!!!

I had such fun with the last giveaway I thought I'd do another one, even though the last one only finished 2 days ago!!! Many people have emailed asking for more!! I have only 2 hanging strawberries left on my website so I am offering up one for you to win. Time for me to do some new ones!!!

I've hadmade this strawberry from Mary Rose fabric, it's a large size and decorated with lots of pretty trims, all hand stitched on. Filled with lavender and polyfil, this has been stored in a ziplock bag since it was made so hasn't lost any scent and will stay in that bag until it gets to the winner. The lavender I use has a fabulous smell, it's a great quality one!

I'd love to know which painting you'd next like to see on my website and have had requests for more of some I did last year. Your best bet is to go to my website and look at my Gallery for ideas. Some ideas have been another rosy bike, mermaid, cowboy, ballerina, pink cream rosy gown, teacup & roses. Or any other paintings you might remember that I did on eBay the last few years that aren't on my gallery.

Beautiful Handmade Albums

I have to share these amazing albums with you that I have had custom made by a super talented eBayer Keepsakes2Love*By*ReneeC .... OH MY GOSH I can't tell you how fantastic they are, so fantastic that I am so happy to share them with you and vouch for their beauty and quality. It's so hard to see the detail and work in these in photos, they fold out, flip up, pull out.... need I say more... She makes paperbag albums with lots of spaces for photos, quotes, tags, trims, charms.... all great quality and no cheap stuff either! And the photo box album is so clever, the lid holds it together and it opens out, flips everywhere and is cute to display too!!!

Now I must work out which photos are good enough to put in these beauties, I hope I can do the albums justice!!!

Thank you to the lovely Susan of Ilka's Attic, I have been tagged for the thinking blogger award!

Now I get to choose another 5 people and let me say first that every blog I have on my 'Beautiful Blogs' makes me think or I wouldn't have put them there in the first place so it's hard to choose but I'm glad I get to choose more now!!! There's also tons of blogs I visit that I love too!!!

4. Scrapping Till the Cows Come Home ~ Bonnie is a very talented artist who does great graphic digi kits and collages. She is all the way in South Africa too! Her blog posts are so sweet, showing her talent and her love of her family.

5. C'est Chouette ~ Sharon makes beautiful pillows from needlepoint pieces and also shares her lovely vintage finds with us. Her pillows are so unique!!!

Thinking Blogger Award ~ I've been tagged!

Heather of Pretty Petals Boutique has been so sweet in nominating me for the Thinking Blogger Award! Thank you Heather, that's so kind of you! I now in turn must nominate 5 of my favourite blogs that make me think. Gosh this is so hard because I love to visit so many blogs!!! I would immediately have Heather in my top 5 but seeing that she nominated me then it would be going round in circles!!!

So I will nominate the following 5 and wish that I could nominate 20!!

1. Holly Doodle Designs Holly's blog is the first blog I read properly. Holly is who inspired me to create my own blog. I love everything about Holly's blog posts, the photos, the gorgeous home and her colour choices and her TALENT! WOW she is such a beautiful painter and creative soul..... I remember specifically being inspired by her post on covering boxes with vintage wallpaper, her post with the ballerina cake toppers, her post with the heart tulle, the post with the foil eggs (and I had to go and buy some myself too!), her post with the kitchen photo, the post with the lounge area and her lovely bird painting... do you get the idea? EVERYTHING Holly does is so inspiring! And she is a sweetheart to boot! Sorry Holly I know Heather tagged you too but now you can tag 10 people and not feel like you have to choose only 5!!!

2. Ilka's Attic Susan is a sweetheart and a talented lady. She has a great knack for putting colours together and if you just take a look at her blog you will see what I mean. Her website is lovely too, really unique and funky. I love visiting Susan's blog, she always has something thoughtful to say. Her post today about Good Egg or Bad Egg is very poingnant. And her vintage treasures are always gorgeous!

3. Artsymama is one blog I visit as often as I can, Kari is so so so talented and puts together her collages in the most amazing way! I have to admit I never used to be a fan of altered art or collages and never really 'got' them but I am one converted chick now! Kari's art is gorgeous and so interesting and her blog is always inspiring, always!

4. Flea Market Studio I love to visit this blog, it is so beautiful and inspirational!!! Every time I visit it I am in awe of what I see.....

5. C. Crafts & Collectibles I am so inspired by Sonia and her posts about her home redecorating, the sunroom post is a particular favourite! And now she is in her garden, where I should be!!! Sonia also made some lovely sachets for fun and did such a cute job on them!

Giveaway!!!!

Hi everyone, I'm back from my working holiday! We had a lovely Easter away at the beach. I will fill you in more on that in the next couple of days but in short, I got so much work done being away from the housework and the computer and all of life's regular distractions!

You can see some of the work I have completed on my website now. Add to that another three paintings!

Happy Easter!

The divinest of divine stunning beautiful gorgeous lovely sweet special eggs arrived at my door this morning.... gosh I can't tell you how much I love these... They are covered in foil and vintage looking trims and actually open up as boxes. They came all the way from the States and I just HAD to have some after seeing Holly's gorgeous eggs.

THE GREAT NEWS???? YOU TOO CAN BUY THESE!!! They are from the lovely Miss Duffy and you can shop for them here. But do it quickly because she will run out soon... AND they are now on sale so you get them for an ever better bargain price!!!

They are now in my front entrance and make me smile every time I walk past them.

The past few days have seen me working on custom orders, I am meeting some wonderful people through my website, through blogs, lovely friends at Shabby Boulevard where I have a Main Street Store, and my fellow Pink Sisters at Make Mine Pink. I've also just joined Beautiful Shops and you can find me in the Village Shops on Shabby Row. I have my very own cute little house coming up there soon... can't wait to see it!

I have brought back my Blackboards/Chalkboards ~ they are sold out but here are some that I have done and will be doing more of later this month or next month. As always I am happy to take custom orders on them. I really enjoy making these and painting on black, it's a refreshing change.

If I don't get a chance to post a message beforehand, Happy Easter Everyone. I am taking a few weeks off the blogging so see you back again soon... On my return I will be running a competition/giveaway so be sure to keep checking back!!!
