Hi! Happy new year! LOL! I know it’s already nearly the end of February….. crazy huh?
Anyway, I have finally cleaned up and unpacked from our time down at the beach, which was the thing that was stopping me from blogging – I wasn’t going to allow myself to blog UNTIL I had unpacked! Yay!
Anyway, enough talking from me. A few more posts to go to share our US trip. This is a fun one – VEGAS!
We drove from Anaheim through the desert, which was not at all barren or flat or boring, but beautiful and fascinating. The four hour trip went by so fast. Several playings of Moves Like Jagger helped!
Joshua Trees
Yep, we detoured so we could see Route 66
Greg and Tiffany. The desert was BRIGHT!
Mother and daughter Lexi and Tiffany – SO ALIKE, and both so beautiful!
Here comes Vegas!
New York, New York hotel, next to ours
Paris hotel, obviously!
The Strip
Our hotel, the Monte Carlo
Tiffany’s face when we found the Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. PRICELESS!! She said “I want this in my house!!!”
The Bellagio foyer
Very pretty bathrooms at the Paris Hotel! Look at those sinks!!!
The Venetian hotel
The Sirens pirate show at Treasure Island
Old Vegas – Fremont Street
Fremont Street light show – incredible!
Elvis and Marilyn and me!
Showgirls!
Can you see the interesting view behind Tiffany?!! LOL! Weird fairy!
Vegas was everything we imagined and more. It’s crazy, insane, fun, loud, bright, headachy, outrageous, wild, over the top and we loved every minute of it!
Next time we go there, and we do plan to go another time down the track, it will be child-free. Not an ideal place for young kids who complain about walking everywhere, lol. We were lucky to have Lexi the babysitter for night time, and Tiffany and I had a great fun girls’ night seeing a traditional Vegas showgirls show. The boys went and saw another kind of show…. haha!
Until next time friends, it’s great being back to blogging~!

PS. I was going to blog about our trip to Forks, Washington, where we went to go on the Twilight Tour. But Tiffany has written the most wonderful blog post on it, so please go check it out by clicking HERE. It was crazy!
LOL...That last picture kills me!! It's so Vegas! Looks like such a fun time. Vegas is one of those places where over the top is an understatement.

Sounds like you had a great time visiting us in the states! Vegas is definitely an amazing place! I have driven through it about 4 times in the past few months without actually stopping to spend any time there! It has been a while since I made a Vegas run . . . just to have fun there and not just pass through . . . maybe it's time I change that! :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a great time in Vegas. Loved the picture of you, Elvis and Marilyn! Welcome back to blogging.

So true! And I think more than 4 days is too long - it takes a while to get over Vegas, that's for sure!!!
